About 91.9's Shows 91.9 offers a diverse mix of talk and specialty shows as well as the best modern rock and hip-hop. Our talk shows are scheduled from 5:30-6:30p every weekday. The shows can change every semester, but the mission is the same - provide entertaining programming that serves the K-State student community and Manhattan community at large. Our specialty shows provide an outlet for typically underrepresented music genres. These shows are scheduled at midnight every night of the week. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "Political Pork" Yeah, we’ve got a weird name. But it’s also cool, and you know in your heart of hearts it is, so calm yourself. We decided that while there’s lots of news shows out there, there aren’t really any news shows with a political outlook on them. That’s what we do. Analyze the news, put our unique spin on it, and then toss it back to you. Nick is decidedly conservative, and he puts his Republican game face on when he gets into the studio. Andrew, while a registered Republican, tends to be more cynical about a lot of the issues. The result? A talk show that’s just short of a debate show. We would call it more of a “discussion” show. And you’re welcome to join in whenever you want, whatever your views are. "Barbecue Pork" Jazz Jazz Jazz. Ok, fine, I'll also put some blues and standards in there. This is the music that formed America, and the only music that is completely American. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "The Rob and Tom Show" Fast-paced, hard-nosed, intelligent, and though provoking. This is not your average sports talk show. In this game, there are no topics too far out of bounds and no argument too small to concede. This is the fastest hour in sports radio and if you don't tune in, it will pass you by. The Rob and Tom Sports Extravaganza - don't miss out on the funniest and most entertaining hour in sports. Check them out on their show website. "Drew's CD Case " Drew opens his CD case and plays rarities, b-sides, live tracks, and ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "Community Bridge " ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "NonStream" coming soon.
"American Situation Factor 360 " Join Quintin Marigold, Chris Swick and Jack Delmont as they take on the tough issues. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- "Four Fried Chickens and a Coke" Join Blues Dog on his blissful adventures through the seedy underbelly of the blues world. The show shines a light on every corner of the genre, from the Delta to Chicago, even NYC and Cali. The show airs from 10pm-Midnight Thursday nights and can be heard on this website if you're outside the Manhattan area. |
